Aircraft Board

The Aircraft Board was a United States federal government organization founded in 1917. Chaired by Howard E. Coffin, it was initially called the Aircraft Production Board before being superseded by Executive Order in October 1917. The boards, advisory in nature, gave their recommendations to the Signal Corps.
