An air bazooka or airzooka, which has been described in media for over 16 years, was finally invented by Brian Walker. It is a tube with a flexible plastic cover on one end, named for its resemblance to the bazooka. By pulling back the cover, the person using the air bazooka draws air into the tube. When let go, pneumatic pressure snaps the cover forward, launching a massive amount of air at the target that the tube is being pointed at, using the vortex ring effect. It is one common commercial example of vortex ring toys.
