Air Saipan is a proposed start-up airline based in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. It plans to initially operate charter passenger services to Japan, to be followed by scheduled services, using two wet leased Boeing 757 aircraft. The 2006 planned launch was postponed after a major stakeholder withdrew due to high fuel prices in the area[1].
