Air Gear Musical
Productions 2007 Tokyo, Japan

Air Gear Musical, also known as Musical Air Gear or Airmyu, is a series of live-action stage musicals based on the anime and manga series, Air Gear. The first musical opened on January 7th, 2007 and ended on January 21st, 2007, but due to the success and popularity of the musical's first run, the musical had a re-run in May 2007 titled, Musical Air Gear vs. Bacchus Super Range Remix (ミュージカル「エア・ギア」vs.バッカス Super Range Remix?) with the original cast reprising their roles.

The cast features Kenta Kamakari, KENN, and Kenjiro Tsuda reprising their roles from the Air Gear anime as Ikki, Kazu, and Spitfire, respectively; with Masaki Kaji, RUN&GUN, etc. as their co-stars. Of the castmembers, Kenta Kamakari, KENN and Masaki Kaji had previously worked together in the Prince of Tennis musicals.

The musical is not related to the story of the series, but is in fact, loosely adapted from the manga and is similar to the Prince of Tennis musicals in that all female roles (ex. Simca, Ringo, etc.) are eliminated from the plot.
