Air Force Religious Pin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Air Force Religious Pin is a decoration which is presented to military chaplains of the United States Air Force upon completion of basic religious service training and commissioning as a chaplain staff officer in the Air Force. The decoration consists of a small pin which is worn above ribbons and awards in the position as the Pilot’s Badge and Occupational Badge.
The Air Force Religious Pin has existed since the 1960s and is based on United States Army chaplain crests. Unlike other Air Force badges, the religious pin is issued in a single degree and does not carry a senior or master designator.
