Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute

Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, situated at Subroto Park, Delhi Cantonment is one of the leading public schools run by Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society. Initially established in 1985, it started as a school only for the mentally disabled children. Subsequently it was felt that an integrated institution was a better option, which would provide the mentally handicapped children with an opportunity of receiving education in the atmosphere of a normal school.

This double pronged concept served the purpose of inculcating values of compassion, harmony, comradeship among all students. The principal is Mrs. Sarcar. The school was established primarily for the benefit of children of Indian Air Force personnel, it is open to children of Army and Navy personnel as well as to civilians. The Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute is a co-educational public school.

Over the years AFGJI has established itself as one of the best public schools of Delhi by producing regional toppers in board exams.
