Air Diver
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Air Diver was a videogame released by Seismic (ASMIK in Japan) in 1990, for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive console. It was a combat flight simulator similar to After Burner, except the game is played in a first-person view, (from inside the cockpit). Gameplay involves flying the fictional F-119D Stealth Fighter against enemy forces.
A sequel for the Nintendo Super Famicom & Super Nintendo Entertainment System, "Super Air Diver", would be released in 1993: in Europe by Sunsoft, and in Asia by ASMIK. Vic Tokai would release this game in the US, under the name "Lock On".
