Air Chathams Limited is a commuter airline based in the Chatham Islands, New Zealand. It was established in 1986 and operates scheduled passenger services between the Chatham Islands and the North and South islands of New Zealand, as well as local charters. Its main base is Chatham Islands / Tuuta Airport, with a hub at Wellington International Airport[2].

As of September 2007, Air Chathams operates scheduled passenger flights to the following destinations:[3]
Additionally return passenger services are operated between Suva and Nadi, Suva and Labasa and Suva and Funafuti (Tuvalu) on behalf of Air Fiji, and Nadi and Vava'u (Tonga) on behalf of Airlines Tonga, with one 50-seat Convair 580.[citation needed]

As of September 2007, the Air Chathams fleet includes the following aircraft:[4]
The Metro III is on contract for freight and available for charter work. A third 50-seat Convair 580 is available from New Zealand for charter and schedule support work. The fourth Convair 580 is a freighter configuration and is currently in storage awaiting reintroduction to service when suitable work becomes available. The Cessna 206 provides a non regular service between Chatham Island and Pitt Island and is on standby for Search And Rescue or local flights around the Chatham Islands as well.[citation needed]
