Air Barrier Quality Assurance Program (QAP)

The Air Barrier Quality Assurance Program (QAP) was created to increase the quality of air barrier installations. It includes 11 components and is utilized by both the National Air Barrier Association (NABA) and the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA).

These 11 components include:

  • Standards and Specifications
  • Manufacturer Accreditation
  • Contractor Accreditation
  • Installer Training and Accreditation
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • 3rd Party Audits
  • Database Tracking
  • Informational Resource
