air-taxi europe GmbH (a-te) is a European airline based at Braunschweig Airport offering air taxi services to passengers and hauling cargo on a non-scheduled basis within the confines of the European continent. It is officially licensed for the air transport of dangerous goods.

Air-taxi europe GmbH was founded in 2005 in Braunschweig.

a-te is the first German airline to commercially operate a fleet of 5 state-of-the-art twin engine Diamond DA42 airplanes manufactured by Diamond Aircraft Industries in Austria.
The a-te fleet is supplemented by a Reims-Cessna F406 acquired in October 2007. a-te is currently the only operator of such aircraft within Germany.

The company is a charter and air-taxi operator serving practically all European airports. Its airplanes can generally land at smaller airports with shorter runways than most scheduled airlines. a-te frequently flies into VFR airfields without Instrument approach, weather conditions permitting.
