I am 16, and was born on the 15th of March 1990. My full name is Lucas Matthew Ainsworth, I come from the North East of England near Middlesbrough.

I am presently at Ackworth School near Leeds and I am a boarder there, and am currently in year 11 and studying for my GCSEs. (Anyone who is familiar with the UK education system will notice I am in the wrong year group, but it was decided to put me in a year lower when I moved to the school, so I could get used to boarding and the way the school was run, without the pressure of GCSEs)

I would like a career in computing, probably building and maintaining computer systems. However, that is only an idea.

[edit] Interests

I am very interested in modern history, particularly modern military history (Cold War, The Falklands War, etc...)

However history from just about any era is of interest to me.

I am also quite an avid reader, I mostly enjoy techno-thrillers. I have recently finished Patrick Robinson's Hunter Killer.

Computers are of great interest to me, self-builing especialy. But I also enjoy playing computer games, some of my favourites at the moment are Half-Life 2 and Rome: Total War.
