Ain (Bible)

Ain (pronounced /ˈeɪjɪn/ from the Hebrew for eye) is a town in ancient Palestine. It is referenced in the Bible in the Book of Joshua as one of the southernmost cities of the children of Judah, towards the (Dead Sea) coast of Edom, between Shilhim and Rimmon (15:32 and 19:7).
