I think some of the material from this page might belong on the specific page Tree of Heaven. This page should be limited to material strictly about all species of the Ailanthus genus. If no one objects in the near future, I may just move this material over myself and leave this page as a skeleton to be filled in once more is known about the Ailanthus genus--it would help if we had more information about other species in the genus. Agreed, though a few of the details (despite being given for A. altissima) do apply to the whole genus (e.g. tree size, pinnate leaves) and could be retained here with suitable re-wording - MPF 22:26, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
