Aiken High School is a four-year public high school located in Aiken, South Carolina. Approximately 1,700 students attend the school. It became an International Baccalaureate school in 2003 and was ranked in the top 5% of high schools in the nation. [1]
Nationally-acclaimed programs at Aiken HS include the academic team, both regular and NJROTC (as of 2007) and the AHS chapter of the National FFA Organization.

Aiken High School's mascot is the Hornet. Aiken is very accomplished in football, winning the state championship in 1992 and making the playoffs for the past consecutive 11 years. Aiken also was ranked as high as #1 in South Carolina in basketball for the 2006-2007 season.
