Aigo (Chinese: 爱国者; literally meaning "Patriot") is a consumer electronic brand manufactured by the Chinese company Beijing Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co., Ltd. It has 16 subsidiaries and 1,200 employees. AIGO is a trademark of Huaqi. AIGO serial products include mobile storage, digital products, monitors, MP3 players, computer cases and optical products. Huaqi’s growth rate has been reaching 60% annually for the past eleven years; its revenue exceeded 300 million USD in 2004. Huaqi products are exported to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other regions.

Aigo is the most popular MP3 player brand in China.[citation needed]

Beijing Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 1993. The company is a technology company headquartered at the heart of the Zhong Guan Cun in Beijing that is involved in the research and development, support, and service of PC software and hardware products. Its CEO is Mr. Jun Feng.

Aigo made its fame in 2005, when it released digital cameras with "patriotic" names against its Japanese rivals. One was named "V815+", after the Allied victory of WWII over Japan in August 15, 1945, while "V60" was named after the same victory 60 years ago. [1]

The company's products include portable storage solutions, monitors, digital products, and computer cases. They are sold abroad in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other regions. Aigo portable storage products have the largest market share and have dominated the Chinese market for the past four years. Other products with the highest market share include Aigo monitors, peripherals, and PC cases.[citation needed] Huaqi has over 1400 employees, including over 200 R&D staff. Furthermore, the company has an incorporated national marketing network system, and has developed into one of the primary enterprises in the Chinese information technology industry.[citation needed]
