Aigialosauridae (Greek, aigialos = "seashore" + sauros= lizard) is family of Late Cretaceous semi-aquatic varanoid lizards, regarded by some paleontologists to form distinct monophyletic group and by others as an adaptive grade within the basal mosasauroids.
