AIG Retirement

AIG Retirement, a member of American International Group, Inc. AIG, is an insurance corporation that specializes in tax-qualified retirement plans, supplemental tax-deferred and after-tax investments. Until early 2008, it was named AIG VALIC. (VALIC is an acronym for "Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company".)
AIG Retirement's headquarters are in Houston, Texas. The company currently manages long-term investment programs for more than 28,000 education, healthcare, public sector and other organizations representing nearly 2 million investors in 41,000 locations in the US. AIG Retirement ranks in the top 10 of all US and Canadian life insurance companies, based on its nearly $44 billion in assets. The company is a certified member of the Insurance Marketplace Standards Association (IMSA).
