Aidan O'Mahony is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Kerry. O'Mahony is a Garda Síochána.

Aidan made his debut for the Kerry senior football team in 2004. Aidan was on the starting team on the 2004, All-Ireland winning team against Mayo. He repeated the performance with in the 2006 All-Ireland final which was also against Mayo. Kerry dominated the game, and Mayo were defeated easily by a scoreline of 4-15 to 3-05, and O'Mahony picked up the RTÉ Man of the Match Award for his marking of Ciaran MacDonald and scoring of 2 points. He won further All-Ireland medals in 2006 and 2007, gaining an All-Star in each of those years,[1] and is the current first-choice centre-back for Kerry. O'Mahony has two National Football league medals for Kerry from 2004 and 2005. He has also won the Munster club championship with his club Rathmore.

Aidan was suspended from the garda training center in Templemore because of a row that developed into a fight in a night club. He is now free of all charges after a court ruling and is allowed to go back Templemore.
