Aidan Browne

Aidan Browne (b. Belfast)[1] is a Northern Irish television presenter and actor. He is best known as a continuity announcer and news presenter at UTV, where he has appeared since 1993.[2]
As well as his announcing role, Aidan is a senior lecturer in Performing Arts at the Belfast Metropolitan College (formerly the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education).[3] He is also involved with Youth Lyric; as a tutor since 1986 and as Director of the group since 1993.[4] Aidan previously studied at Lancaster University, the University of Ulster, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.[5]
Aidan appeared in the 2005 Christmas special of Give My Head Peace as a television reporter. He also contributes regularly on Ivan Martin's Sunday Brunch programme on U105 discussing television programmes for the week ahead.[6]
Aidan is married with two children.[7]
