[edit] Javed Iqbal

If you have only a tiny bit of information about this accomplice, then it might not be worth starting a whole new article on it, if all it will ever be is a stub. How about you insert this information about his accomplices into the article about Javed Iqbal? You could create a section with a name along the lines of Accomplices or something like that. That's bets if not much information is at hand at the present time. If you know lots of facts about Mamad Nadeem, and can find article on external internet sites to back up your claims, then by all means start the article. Do a Google search and see what you can find! Please reply if you don't understand or wish me to make things clearer or if you want any help at all. Happy editing! Lradrama 13:55, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Haha don't worry about asking questions! It's fine, no worries at all! :-) If you are to upload a picture of Iqbal, it must a picture that you own, i.e. no-one elses. Therefore, any image taken from something like Google will end up being deleted I'm afraid to say. I'm sorry about that. Do you have any of your own pictures of Iqbal? If so, by all means upload them and put them on the article. With love and regards, Lradrama 18:12, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
I never suggested you were a fan of Iqbal, and I understand that murder cases are of interest to many people, don't you worry! If you don't own a picture of him, then you may get one from the internet as long as you state the source from which you retrieved the image so it isn't deleted. Look at this example. The source and licencng details are both listed and you'll need to do the same for images you want to use. Ask if you need help. :-) Lradrama 15:16, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Hello my friend, well, I found much information about Sajid Ahmad (An Iqbal's accomplice) but this information is in Spanish. I used a translator to it. So, what must I do? Thanks my helper friend, God Bless you. Ahmed987147 (talk) 16:42, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
You must put information onto Wikipedia into your own words. Do not just copy and paste it in as it violates copyright and the text will be deleted. Read what you have, and enjoy entering the information into the article in your own words - that way it'll all be your own work! It'll be something to be proud of. ;-) Lradrama 09:32, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Can you not find a translation of the site? Because a link from an English encyclopedia to a Spanish site may be inappropriate for those who can't understand Spanish? I'd suggest using a translation of the site, or a similar one written in English. Bear in mind the majority of British users of this website will know little or no Spanish. Many thanks, Lradrama 17:21, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
As long as you say from where you got the picture and to whom its rights belong, yes. Lradrama 18:59, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Hello again. No, its copyright will not have expired. You may still use it, as long as you say from where you obtained the picture and who it's from. Find as many as you can, and the ones which are most reliably backed up and say who took them and where they're from, etc are best to use. :-) Lradrama 20:58, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
I can't see the picture. Something went wrong. Click on the link again and you'll see what I mean. Lradrama 17:24, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Thornton Davidson, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/biography/90. [edit] Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni

Hi, I've replied to your comments on my talk page. I'm afraid the refdesk is just not the place for those kind of discussions. It looks like someone's followed you back to the article talk page though and has started a discussion there. FiggyBee (talk) 13:25, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Hello Friend!

I'm fine thankyou, and I hope you are also. :-) Just to clarify, which type of television programme was it? Lradrama 15:04, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't know whether it's true or not - it is a subject I'm not familiar with. One should always be wary about inserting rumours into an article, as encyclopedias are based on fact. Unless there is some backup in a paper-based document or on the internet, in which case use that as a ref and state that it is a rumour, I would avoid putting it in just yet. That is the safest way of going about things I think. :-) Lradrama 17:14, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Egypt v Angola

No, 2-1 to Egypt. Will correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjefm (talkcontribs) 19:09, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ian Brady

It depends what you want to prevent. I undid the categorisation of Ian Brady as an LGBT person in the UK, as it seemed obviously wrong. If it happens again, bring it up on the talk page Talk:Ian Brady. You might also want to let me know, if you want someone to explain why they think the categorisation is wrong. The categorisation on the talk page of Ian Brady being within Wikiproject LGBT Studies is more complicated, as it doesn't imply that he himself was LGBT. That should probably be brought up on the talk page, or with the wikiproject itself, if you think it's problematic.

In brief: you can't stop people adding the category, but it can be undone and/or discussed. If it happens again, discussing is probably the best route to avoid an edit war. Skittle (talk) 16:41, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Oh, and it probably isn't LGB editors who would add the category I removed. Skittle (talk) 16:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello. Please remove the image from your signature. Images are not allowed in signatures for the reasons listed at Wikipedia:SIG#Images. Thanks, Sandstein (talk) 22:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

As long as you state clearly somewhere in the image details that it is from Spain it should be fine. And if someone states a problem with the way you've set it up, just tell them what you have told me and it will be fixed. However, I don't think it is a problem. Don't worry about it. Lradrama 10:18, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Steven Wright

Of course an article should be created about this man. Although I think you should participate in this discussion first. All his background can be researched on the internet, I will do some as well if need be. Lradrama 12:41, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re:How are you?

I'm fine thankyou. Quite busy in real life, what with college work to keep up with and plays I'm doing for various societies, but I'm generally OK. Hope you are too. How is your Wikipedia work getting along? Lradrama 08:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thomas Andrews

Hi thanks for messaging me your thoughts on the article, well in order to be british you have to have be born in britian or at least have british heritage. Being a poiltician does not really make you british particulaly if it was your father. From what i seen he was born in ireland but it appears that he does not have british heritage so thats why i changed it to irish due to the fact that if it was british, readers would think he was born in britain rather then ireland which at the time of his birth was united and part of the united kingdom (not great britain)and northern ireland did not even existed until ten years after his death. which means lots of irish were politician to the uk as they were representing ireland. Also the unbias bit i am afraid you were being bias there.Pathfinder2006 (talk) 11:02, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
