[edit] Father Chief Justice of Sudan

According to the site referenced in "External links", [http://www.islamonline.net/Arabic/history/1422/09/article17.shtml Ahmed Mohammed Shaker's Profile at islamonline.net} (in Arabic), he was born in AH 1309 (29 January 1892). His father, after graduating from Al-Azhar, served as secretary to a mufti there, and then was appointed as Chief Justice of the Sudan in AH 1317 (11 March 1900). That happened when Ahmed Mohammed Shaker was eight years old. It goes on to say that his father was the first Chief Justice of the Sudan. After that, it says that in 1905 his father was appointed as director of the newly created (1903) Islamic "Religious Institute" in Alexandria, Egypt. It says that his brother was a writer named "Mohammed Shaker Mahmoud". Is there any collaboration for this? --Bejnar 04:05, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
