Ahmed Yahiaoui (born January 12, 1987 in Marseille) is a French football midfielder of Algerian origin who he is currently AS Cannes. He has recently held talks with officials from the Algerian FA.
He was very promising at the beginning of his career, playing for France U-17, but failed to make an impact at Olympique de Marseille, on the contrary of Samir Nasri.He left the club to play one year for Ligue 2 side FC Istres, before joining FC Sion, from where he was fired at the beginning of 2007.
Yahiaoui had been on trial at Everton FC but failed to secure a permanent deal.
