Ahmed Soultan (أحمد سلطان) (born 1978) is a Berber singer from Morocco. His work fuses traditional Arab music, hip-hop, rap, raï and soul.
The pseudonym "Soultan" comes from "soul", the musical style, and "tan". He has never declared his true surname.
He was born in a village in the district of Souss and emigrated to France while very young.
In 2005, Soultan was invited to take part in the Dakar International Festival of Film and was a supporting artist in a concert by Tiken Jah Fakoly. He went on to explore the African music of Morocco, recording in duet with the Senegalese singer King Bara.
Code is the title of his second album.
