Ahmed Faseeh, often known by the name Fasy, is a guitarist. Born in the Maldives, he came to Malaysia in late 1996 to obtain a degree in information technology at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology. He began his musical career when meeting another musician, Viji, at a pub in Medan Damansara, a week after his arrival in Kuala Lumpur. He played at this pub often.
In 1997, Fasy met Tony Warren. They performed several shows together, with Fasy as Tony's guitar player. In late 1997, he met with Bala, a veteran showman who also performed with him multiple times.
Fasy has performed with many famous Malaysian musicians, including Paul Ponnudorai, Amir Yussof, Rafique Rashid, and Purple Haze.
After graduating from Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology in 2000, Fasy, along with Rekha Raveenderan, formed a production studio named DigitalTones. They made a debut album, "Sangkeertanam - Songs to Divinity," an Indian devotional album. Over 50,000 copies were sold in Malaysia.
After this, "Nil Gavvanee," a Malaysian Tamil hip-hop album by Boomerangx, was produced at DigitalTones.
Fasy has produced another album, entitled "Fasy: The Compilation."
Also he has performed live in Maldives on a few shows.
He is now in a rock band called FasyLIVE along with fellow musicians, Abdullah Arafat (a.k.a Addo) and Ibrahim Saamy (a.k.a Ibbe') have released an album called "Vengeance"
