Ahmed El-Nahass (Arabic: احمد النحاس‎, born in 1950) is an Egyptian movie director.

His parents were from the Egyptian middle class. He was married to Fayza Ahmed, who died November 22, 2006. He has two daughters and one son. Heba, his eldest daughter, is a news anchor at Nile News Channel which is broadcast from Egypt, Noha is a teaching assistant pursuing her master's degree at the American University in Cairo, and his son Mohamed is a movie editor.

El-Nahass worked for many year with the biggest names in the Egyptian cinema field, like Kamal El-Sheikh and Al-Zurkani. His first movie was The Lost Plan (Arabic: الطائرة المفقوده‎) which won an award at Alexandria's movie festival.
