Ahmad Abdullah Juma Bin Byat (Arabic: أحمد عبد الله جم إبن بيات) is Director General of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He has a management background through American education and held several roles in Etisalat, the local telecommunications monopoly in the UAE until he became the deputy manager of Dubai Branch.
In 1999, he was selected the CEO of the Dubai Internet City. He was in charge of establishing the new initiative to host international companies and bring them to Dubai, especially in the fields of E-commerce and IT. After a restructure in the whole free zone in 2002, he was chosen to be the Director General of the Free Zone which includes initiatives such as Dubai Media City, Dubai Knowledge Village, International Media and Production Zone, Dubai Outsource Zone, Dubai Studio City and DuBiotech.
In 2006 he assumed additional responsibilities as the Chairman of the second telecommunications operator in UAE, Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company which will be offering telecom services under the brand name of "du"
