[edit] A Happy Death!

My actual name is Jordan f. Cooper. My user name is flagrantly stolen from Albert Camus' first novel. Aside from being a self-proclaimed Camus scholar, I am a comic book proponent, avid reader of both contemporary and classical literature and pet turtle enthusiast. I'm most often prone to interest in social constructivism, deviation in shared meaning, variations of rhetoric depending on the medium its presented with, the catalysts and implications of mental illness, absurdism, spirituality and ideology in a scientifically oriented environment and the poetry of human existence.

Also, I have unhealthy obsessions with the following: Batman, pirates, pumpkin pie, the Cleveland Indians.

I am currently finishing up a B.A. in Public Advocacy from Scripps' College of Communication at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I am also applying for my Master's Degree in Literary Criticism from OU's English department. That and the writing of a few unsolicited academic journal articles and an over-thought, perennially unfinished navel-gazing novel make up the entirety of my ethos.

Feel free to send any commentary or criticism.
