Agustín García-Gasco Vicente

Agustín Cardinal García-Gasco Vicente (born February 12, 1931 in Corral de Almaguer, Spain) is the current Archbishop of Valencia. In 1985 he was made Auxiliary Bishop of Madrid, Spain and Titular bishop of Nona. On July 24, 1992 he became Archbishop of Valencia.
On 17 October 2007, Pope Benedict XVI announced that he will make García-Gasco a Cardinal. García-Gasco was elevated to the College of Cardinals in the consistory at St. Peter's Basilica on November 24, 2007.
