I've just put this together, mostly by stealing parts from other articles. It's missing many things, such as:
- Good figures/estimates of immigrants, distribution, etc.
- A list of agricultural colonies surviving today (just the Las Colonias Department, Santa Fe has 37!) and some background on that.
- Colonies (with demographic composition) in places other than Santa Fe (Entre RĂos is chock full of them too).
- Influence of those immigrants in culture, language, etc. not covered elsewhere.
- Maybe agricultural colonies before 1853? The misiones and reducciones of the Jesuits?
