Agrokor (pronounced Agg-rho-core) is the largest private company in Croatia. Today, Agrokor employs more than 31,000 people. The core business of the company is food and drink. Other than Croatian subsidiaries, Agrokor also has companies from the region, like Ledo Čitluk, Sarajevski kiseljak, Velpro Sarajevo, Frikom Belgrade, Ledo Hungary, and Fonyodi from Hungary. The company goal is to have a key position in the region.

1976

- A private firm for the production of flowers and flower seedlings is founded by Ivica Todoric
- A countrywide distribution network is established as the first greenhouses for the flower production are built
- In the first year of operation, the firm quickly developed and employed more than fifty people
1977 - 1988
1989 - 1991

- In 1989 the joint-stock company Agrokor was registered
- Soya crushing plant in Zadar is acquired
- Agrokor becomes engaged in the construction industry

- Ownership shares are acquired at Jamnica and Agroprerada
- Foundation of the hunting area Lovno gospodarstvo Moslavina d.o.o.
- Reconstruction and commencement of production at Jamnica, that was destroyed in the war
- Acquisition of majority shareholdings at Zvijezda and DIP Turopolje
- Margo, a new margarine brand of Zvijezda is developed
- Konzum joins the Agrokor group

- EBRD loan worth 170 million euro to Agrokor
- Agrokor opened the largest Distribution center in Croatia and the region

- Konzum enters into buying up fruits and vegetables in the Neretva valley together with the company DAD Mala Neretva
