Agro-Velho is a neighourhood of the Portuguese city of Póvoa de Varzim. it is an urban and beach resort district. it is considered a northwards expansion of Bairro Norte.

Between the buildings a farming area exists, in the past a city park was planned to this area, but it started being urbanized, the city park area moved inland and the future use of the remaining terrain is not yet fully known. It has a lot of value given that is near the beach with sufficient space in a tightly populated area.

Agro-Velho has the tallest builing of Póvoa de Varzim, the Edíficio Nova Póvoa (1980) with 84 metres and 29 habitable floors.
