Agra is a town in northern Lincoln County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 356 at the 2000 census.

Agra is located at 35°53′39″N, 96°52′15″W (35.894279, -96.870956)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.9 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 356 people, 131 households, and 99 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,007.3 people per square mile (392.7/km²). There were 147 housing units at an average density of 415.9/sq mi (162.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 89.61% White, 5.90% Native American, and 4.49% are from two or more races.

There were 131 households out of which 36.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.8% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.4% were non-families. 23.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.72 and the average family size was 3.18.

In the town the population was spread out with 30.1% under the age of 18, 11.0% from 18 to 24, 23.6% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 14.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 104.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.8 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $25,750, and the median income for a family was $30,781. Males had a median income of $24,375 versus $12,344 for females. The per capita income for the town was $9,997. About 20.6% of families and 27.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 36.4% of those under age 18 and 12.3% of those age 65 or over.

In March of 2008 the Agra High School boys won the Class A state basketball championship. This was the first time the team had progressed to the finals.
