Agony and Irony is Alkaline Trio's upcoming sixth studio album, which is due to be released July 1, 2008 on Epic Records.
The first single from the album, "Help Me" was released to radio stations on April 28, 2008. The song "In Vein", was streamed from the band's MySpace site for 24 hours.
On April 22, 2008, The Agony and Irony EP was released containing the tracks "Help Me, "In Vein" and "Into The Night".
On June 11, 2008 the full album leaked onto P2P networks.
