[edit] wiki code question

Hi, can you explain the use of the <includeonly></includeonly> tags you inserted on the Oregon State University article? Just curious, I haven't seen these used on mainspace articles. -Pete (talk) 05:19, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Sure... Thanks for asking... These are to provide space in layout. If you know another way to provide proper spacing please feel free to change these. However, make sure the sub-titles and titles are neatly laid-out. ThanksAgntOrange (talk) 04:03, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] OK Then

Fine, apparently you are unaware of the WP:MOS, so here it is just for you: long and uncalled-for insertion removed by Thingg.

[edit] Images and OSU

So after reading this could you please explain how making captions long, inlcudeing ELs, bolding them, and making them small complies with the MOS? Which by the way has been explained and mentioned/discussed on the talk page, and again, you are in the minority on your changes. So, we will take this to WP:RFC. Happy editing. [edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:00, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Edit warring

Please do not engage in an edit war in Oregon State University. Believe me, I have learned from experience in two other edit wars that it is not worth the effort and never accomplishes what you are trying to do. You should discuss the article content on the talk page. If you do not cease reverting edits on that page I will have to request that the page be fully protected from editing. [edit] 3rr

Hi, earlier today Aboutmovies warned you about the three-revert rule in regards to Oregon State University. You have now violated it on Linus Pauling as well, making changes that multiple editors have taken issue with. I am going to restore the original text once more. I have reported your reversions at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR. If you acknowledge the problem and stop trying to assert your version over all other editors, it's possible you will not be blocked from editing, and we'll all be able to go about writing this encyclopedia. However if you make the change again, I am confident you will be blocked. Your choice. -Pete (talk) 00:19, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Hello AgntOrange. An editor complained to me about the activities of 24.21.177.25 (talk · contribs), who seems to exactly share your views on a number of matters. But I won't take any action at this time unless that account resumes editing. EdJohnston (talk) 13:06, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
