Agnihotri

Agnihotri is an Indian surname derived from agni (fire) and hotra (a ritual carried out in fire). Agnihotri means "one who carries out rituals in fire", i.e. the agnihotra. It is a Brahmin surname common in parts of Northern India. 'Agnihotri' is also an epitheton for the god Agni, the god of fire.
