Agnes Martin Barley (born October 5, 1970 in Jacksonville, Florida) is a minimalist abstract painter.
In 2002, she met the recently widowed playwright Arthur Miller, who had become prominent decades before she was born, and politely expressed surprise that he was still alive; they soon embarked on a romantic relationship. In December of that year, Miller announced their engagement. They lived together until his death. Within hours of her father's death, Rebecca Miller ordered Barley to vacate the premises, having consistently opposed the relationship.
