I take issue with the leading statement:

"The North American AGM-28 Hound Dog was the first air-launched nuclear stand-off missile developed by the United States."

There was an earlier missile developed, although it never became fully operational and was replaced by the Hound Dog. It was the Bell ASM-A-2/B-63/GAM-63 Rascal. See [1] for more information. Wdfarmer 03:56, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

You're absolutely right -- the word I was looking for (which I've now corrected) was "deployed," not "developed." (That, I think, is correct.) Thanks for catching that. ArgentLA 21:34, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
