What's your opinion on this? Wǐkǐɧérṃǐť(Talk) 02:16, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- My opinion doesn't matter as much as the community's - the template is currently up at TfD ~ Anthony 06:43, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

- Pardon? Anthony 16:23, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Your banner says you can be contacted on IRC but no indication is given about which irc-network or your irc-nick. I was wondering what IRC network you monitor. Lsi john 13:47, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- I see now, that the wiki meta-article on IRC does list a network. My apologies. Being familiar with IRC for the past 12 years, I did not think to click/read the wiki meta-article. Lsi john 18:01, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- No problem; just to clarify, I'm normally only on #wikipedia-checkuser-clerks or private chat ;) if you need me on IRC, drop me a message here and I'll connect, where you can ping me ~ Anthony 18:04, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Grayrigg derailment GA review
On 6 April, you reviewed the article Grayrigg derailment against the Good Article criteria and left a message on the article talk page with your opinion. However, looking at the talk page now, I notice that the time and date following the text "I have reviewed this article..." is showing the current time and date. It appears you forgot to subst the variables. Regards. Adambro 17:48, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Admin Coaching..?
Hello Anthony. I am flattered by your comment and I would be honored to coach you. However, I'm currently experiencing some stressful real life problems and I might not be able to give you proper attention until the end of this month. After this turbulent period, I will do my best to provide you with all the help you might need. I hope that's okay with you. Tell me if it is. Best regards, Húsönd 21:18, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Absolutely no problem - I'm overjoyed to be accepted! It's up to you - if you want to start now, even if your inactive, that's up to you - or if you want to leave it a while, I'm not to fussed ~ Anthony 21:22, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hey!
hi Anthony, cheers for the message, I'm fine thanks, got my final year project at uni in for thursday so slightly stressed! My internets been cut off at home (housemate spent the money on a night out!) so I've only got very sporadic internet access (i.e. I have to steal it from next door which I can't always do!), feel bad really, if you check my logs I've hardly done any admin related word over the past few weeks, or any vandal fighting or welcoming. How are things with you anyway? Haven't come into contact with you for a while! Ryan Postlethwaite 21:50, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hey Ryan! Well, we can't all be devoted super-admins constantly ;) I've been fine - although we get a great connection at my place, my lazy-ass flatmates refuse to do any (1) housework (2) shopping (3) general cleanliness; so, I'm left to do it all! Of course, in return I a pay much-reduced slice of the rent :P I take it you're coming back after the final proj. is done? ~ AGK 06:48, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ER
Could you please review me (just click the "ER" in the sig)? Thanks! Sr13 (T|C) ER 05:35, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- Going off the Wiki now, but I'll be sure to do so later today; it's good you put a link in your signature - to be frank, ER is badly backlogged, and it'll be a few weeks before you're actually reviewed if you don't do so! A hint - contact other Wikipedians your friendly with; again, I'll review when I return ~ AGK 06:48, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia talk:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2007-04-05 Stephen Barrett
Would you please stop back in to get control of this mediation? Right now the arguments and debates that brought this subject to the mediation is still going and information from the talk:Stephen Barrett is actually being cut and pasted into the mediation. I thought your last stop there said that the information wanted by the few had not passed but from what is going on, it doesn't look like it. I am making this request before tempers really start to fly again. This is my first mediation and I don't know if I am missing something or what. Thanks, --Crohnie 12:30, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

I have replied to your e-mail, although I you can expect a second one shortly as the first one was a bit incomplete. :-/
I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for your kind words. The light at the end of the tunnel is growing bigger and I can already feel the fresh air coming from the exit. Soon I'll be back in full swing, very soon indeed. Happy editing, and once again thanks for being a great person! Kindest regards, Húsönd 23:34, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Kurdistan
Yo, would you like to help out with this. Nothing has been done so far. -- Cat chi? 23:24, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- No problem - what can I do? Please note it's protected, so I'm unable to edit it ~ AGK 23:25, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- The problem is the categorization of articles with Category:Kurdistan and its sub articles without any kind of sources. This is my approach (the four bullets) and this is theirs. With that kind of clear lack of WP:AGF I am not certain what avenue I should pursue. -- Cat chi? 23:39, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Coaching
Well, it looks like you're going for adminship soon, so I guess there won't be a need to make a subpage and go over admin stuff. Anyway, if you ever need any help or have any questions, contact me on my user talk page. Thanks, Nishkid64 (talk) 23:43, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] yellow box
Hey, I don't like it but it's not like I think it's unacceptable or anything like that. In any case, it certainly has nothing to do with your competence as a potential admin so I really don't care. By all means, don't go out of your way to remove it. Cheers and best of luck with the RfA. Pascal.Tesson 21:45, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rfa
I just had to say that of all the RfAs I have ever seen, you're has to be one of the most organized, concise, and overall, well, well done. You have my vote of support. Good luck! Jmlk17 06:01, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Why thank you ;) as TT said, I'm quite well-known for my skills with WikiCode ... and as for organisation? Well, I am an obsessive :P thanks again for your kind comments! Regards ~ Anthony 00:06, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RfA (2)
I apologise for the unnecessarily sharp wording of my oppose. I hope you accept this, though you'd be justified in ignoring me. – Steel 12:58, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Not at all - in fact, I find it refreshing that somebody can stand up for their opinion in such a way, even if it goes against the majority. There is no need for an apology - I think you are an excellent editor, and I thank you for voicing your opinion ~ Anthony 17:34, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/AGK
Normally, I reply on my own talk page to keep threads contiguous, but I wanted to make sure that you saw this. By now, you have probably noticed that I and some other people have commented further about the formatting. I would be happy to discuss that issue with you further if you choose; I think that it is no longer an issue for your RFA. More importantly, I wanted to say that I perhaps jumped and judged you too harshly upon following some of the links that had been provided. Fortunately, I am not a "hit and run" commenter at RFA and I have seen the testimony of several other editors who have spoken on your behalf. As you probably also have noticed, I have withdrawn my opposition. It sounds like you will be a fine admin and I wish you luck with the remainder of the process (not that it looks like you will need it). I hope to see you again and look forward to having positive interactions with you in the future. --After Midnight 0001 12:08, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Although I did, in fact, see the relevant withdrawal at my RfA, nevertheless thank you for taking the time to post over here. Your thoughts have been noted, and thank you for your moral support! Look forward to having positive interactions with you in the future - and I, you ;) don't hesitate to drop me a line back here any time!
- Kindest regards,
Anthony 16:22, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Ha! My response was posted as you were sending your nudge. But I appreciate the nudges. I am on the road at a funeral for a close friend where I am helping the family sort out details, and speaking and playing in a band for the memorial service.--Cberlet 16:54, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- My sincerest apologies and commiserations - I had no idea you were going through a rough spell; take care of yourself, and remember there's always light at the end of the tunnel. My email's open if you need to offload ~ Anthony 16:57, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] repeated Afd swinging to delete
fyi, Ronald Collé has appeared on afd within a week of the last Afd which you closed as keep. The nom appears to be a new user so there is probably nothing sinister about it appearing again so quickly, but sadly this Afd is gathering delete votes. John Vandenberg 04:23, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey (aeropagitica); long time no see ;) you might or might not have noticed, but I'm not armed with a mop to help me with my duties around the encyclopedia. More to the point, I've been actively using them (you just beat me to a block not two seconds ago ;) so if I slip up, kick me and tell me where I went wrong!
Regards,

So glad that I could help you on your journey to the ultimate stage in a Wikipedians life (well technically adminship is "no big deal"; the biggest goal is helping others on this great project...but you get the point). I wish you the best of luck, trust me, it will be hard at first. I remember the email and how the abuse kind of got to me...but the thing is, if you let the hate stick to you...all you are doing is giving those vandals/trolls power. I have been indifferent to abuse that has been passed my way. Cheers! Let me know if you need some help with anything. ~ Arjun 00:36, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
