After much time observing the process, I've decided to jump on the recall wagon; I am an administrator open to recall, as of May 2008. User:Firsfron/Accountability and User talk:Kirill Lokshin#RECALL are the models for my "standards"; however, the crux of my being open to recall is this: if I've lost the community's trust as an administrator, I will step down.
If you believe I have lost the community's trust, file a request for comment. If the community reaches a consensus that I have acted inappropriately as an administrator, I will resign the tools.
"The community" would, I hope, include numerous trusted and respected contributors. If six or more users who fit into one (or more) of the following categories hold the opinion (and express it in the request for commment) that I should lose my administrator status, then I will resign:
If a consensus is expressed at a request for comment, agreeable to the conditions in "specifics" (above), that I should resign my administrator permissions, I will request on meta:Steward requests/Permissions, that the +sysop flag be removed from my account. In other words, I will honour the consensus. End of story. :) Anthøny 20:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC) |
