As an Administrator, I bear in mind one key foundation: "will my action benefit Wikipedia?". When making a request for my intervention in an Administrator matter, please consider that before proceeding.

When requesting any of the following actions from me, please note the accompanying notes...

  • Block a user – read the Blocking policy; then note the following with regards to the accompanying category of blockable offence:
  • Simple vandalism – file a report here. The matter is guaranteed a response immediately, and has the added advantage of being scrutinised more closely than an individual Administrator's actions.
  • Edit wars – I am willing to handle 3RR violations, and other Edit wars-in-progress. However, you are advised to report instead to WP:AN3, which is an Administrator-monitored noticeboard for revert-warring. Please remember that the user must have been warned and have subsequently reverted again, before a report is filed. More elaborate instructions are provided there.
  • Complaints over user conduct – contact me, using the instructions here. You may wish to do this through my talk page, for speed, or via email for privacy. Alternatively you may wish to place such complaints at WP:AN/I, if you believe the case is particularly complex or will require multiple inputs; if you prefer, I am willing to present your case on behalf of you, whilst retaining your full anonymity.
  • Complaints over Administrator abuse - I shall not deal with these cases. Place requests at WP:AN/I, or direct them to the Arbitration Committee.
  • Requests for Mediation – if you require assistance with this process, and placing a request to it, follow the instructions here, selecting private or public as desired. You may also wish to contact WJBscribe or Daniel, who are both active Mediators.
  • Protect a Page – please place standard requests here. If the page requires protection due to complex circumstances, contact me in confidence using the instructions here, or at my talk page.
