Agia Efymia Bay

The Agia Efymia Bay (Greek: Όρμος Σάμης Ormos Agias Efthymias), also Agia Efimia Bay (other romanizations: Agia Evfymia Bay, Agia Evfimia Bay) is a bay situated east of Agia Efymia. The total length is approximately 5 km long and is approximately 3 km wide from Sami to Cape Dichalia. The bay is bordered with Sami Bay to the south not far from the town and the Strait of Ithaca to the northeast. The mountains surround the gulf to the east while a small valley lies in the area of Agia Efymia. There is a ferry route linking to the ports of Agia Efymia and the island of Ithaca. The Kissou Avlaki stream empties into the gulf, slightly west of Sami. The Sami-Agia Efymia Road surrounds the southwestern portion while a road linking to the village to the north dominates the north.
