Agent Video Intelligence is a Video Analytics firm that helps monitor certain public areas such as malls, airports and train stations from suspicious behavior including vandalism, terrorism and theft.[1] Their system connects to the existing camera systems and uses special software that quickly notices certain action and alerts security personnel.

AgentVi uses a patented technology called Image Processing over IP (IPoIP) where some of the analytics are done locally at the video encoder level and others are done at the server itself. This allows wide area video surveillance networks to communicate over an internet protocol.[6]
