Should these peformer really be named?
Yes I think they should as they perform at the AFYM annually and contribute to a variety of competitions.
I added "of" to "comprises*6 days". 23:04, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes but that's not the issue. Should they really be named without their permission?
[edit] Tomos Xerri Link?
I think it's great that the performers are mentioned in this article but I don't think that the Tomos Xerri article paragraph needs to be any longer. Remember this is an article about AFYM not Tomos Xerri, so why has his paragraph been extended with irrelevant information and why is there a link onto another article about him. I don't think that an article solily about him merits a place in Wikipedia. Ok Tomos Xerri and other AFYM performers deserve a place on the AFYM article because of their relevance to it, I question Tomos Xerri's article's encyclopeadic relevance. OK, Tomos Xerri may be very notable in South Wales and possibly beyond but this beggs the question should all the performers listed have their own article? Should the list on the AFYM article be longer and with less details of all the performers and perhaps stub articles with a shortened version with their information? The purpose of Wikipedia is to provide shortened and relevant information on notable facts, I wonder if and anrticle about him would even help anyone browsing through the web. Also his article could do with a clean up. Prehaps an article about a few more of the AFYM performers each with a good paragraph would be more suitable.
[edit] More Cleaning up
I think that it's a good thing that someone took the Tomos Xerri article off Wikipedia, because like I said the information was neither relevant or encyclopeadic and it aslo needed a big cleanup. However I think it would also be a good idea if I toned down the Tomos Xerri paragraph on the main AFYM article. There is too much information about one person, and this is an article about the AFYM music festival not Tomos Xerri and his family. (Cleanup01 09:57, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Stop!
Whoever keeps putting my name on the article, stop it! I keep deleting it and then someone keeps putting it back on!
[edit] XERRI ARTICLE BACK
Since the Tomos Xerri aticle has already been deleted and now has been put back on, then I'm going to get rid of the link to that article from the AFYM site. (Cleanup01 10:23, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
