"Afterglow" is the name of a song written and produced by Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, recorded by Tina Turner on her 1986 album Break Every Rule and featuring Steve Winwood on keyboards. The song was the eighth and final track from the album to be released as a single, if only in the United States. The 12" single included four dance mixes of the track by Justin Strauss and Murray Elias (Vocal Dance Mix - 7:10, Glowing Dub - 6:14, Tina's House Mix - 8:37, and an accapella version entitled Tinapella - 4:41) and reached #2 on the US dance charts and #20 on Adult Contemporary. A promo video for the track was filmed as part of the Break Every Rule TV-special in 1986, in which it was the opening number and shows Turner performing the track in her dressing room at the club Le Zero in Paris as she is preparing to go on stage.
