After Edmund is a Christian rock band from LaGrange, Georgia. The band was first formed in 2001 as "Taken" while the members were students at LaGrange College[1] The band's name is a reference to the character Edmund Pevensie in the C. S. Lewis book series The Chronicles of Narnia.[2]

After Edmund first originated in 2001 as the band "Taken". They released five independent albums before changing their name to "After Edmund". In November 2006 they signed onto Slanted Records[1], and they began recording for their first studio album, Hello until February 2007.[citation needed] The album was then released on February 26, 2008, nearly a year later.
