Afstralias Street

Afstralias Street (Greek: Odos Afstralias), is Patras' street running from Notara with Aretha Streets and a street northward. Its total length is approximately 2 km. The street contains two lanes .
Farmlands still covers the intersection with olive groves, fruits and vegetables and other crops, while the farmlands south of the street had transformed into residential buildings and complexes, farmlands still exists. A few houses lies within the street as well as by the end of the street.

The street is not frequently used, much of the traffic relies on local use with some main uses.

The avenue was paved in mid to late-20th century. A few houses were built near the ends of the street between the 1980s and the 1990s. Between 1993 and 1995, construction for a two-lane road that became the GR-8 and the E55 or the E65 and added a traffic light in which rerouted traffic from Agyia/Agiou Konstantinou, Notara and Aretha Streets.
