Hi, Afru, I've merged your article Breeding stock to Selective breeding, as a section. I invite you to expand on that article! Since we have seperate articles on dog, cat, horse and plant breeding, we could consider a seperate article on Pig breeding (if that is your particular interest.) Thanks, Marasmusine 11:51, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your COI report
Just dealing with the most important issue first, to find out how to have items removed from the history of a page you need to go to Wikipedia:Oversight. The rest of the questions will be answered in time. Pairadox (talk) 07:33, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi, thank you very much for the advise; I am a new user; just learning --Afru (talk) 07:46, 5 February 2008 (UTC)AFRU
In that case, let's get you a better set of links to help you find your way around. There's a lot of important information in these, so you'll want to be sure to read them. Pairadox (talk) 07:48, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sourcing
Re Central Asian Shepherd Dog, note that it's a fundamental policy of Wikipedia that material is cited to reliable published sources. See WP:V and WP:RS. Gordonofcartoon (talk) 12:52, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. I am a newbie to WIkipedia, and vast majority of sources are in Russian. Will do my best to clarify the issue. --Afru (talk) 16:48, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks also. Russian is fine as long as they're cited. Gordonofcartoon (talk) 17:33, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Central Asian Shepherd Dog
Re your message: You're welcome. Since I don't know much about this breed or dogs in general, I would recommend that you stop by the talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject Dogs. Perhaps editors there can assist you in expanding and fixing up the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:26, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- One suggestion I do have, and it's more of a style suggestion than a content suggestion, is to use the citation templates. They can be a little more cumbersome to use, but the nice thing about them is that automatically format the references for you in the {{Reflist}} section. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Dog Breed Groups
A tag has been placed on Dog Breed Groups requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 23:17, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
This is how one learns to use this template :)
This user talk page or section is in the middle of an expansion or major revamping. You are welcome to assist in its construction by editing it as well. Please view the edit history should you wish to contact the person who placed this template. If this article has not been edited in several days, please remove this template. Consider not tagging with a deletion tag unless the page hasn't been edited in several days. |

[edit] Sheep dog
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Ros0709 (talk) 23:26, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
I am working on both pages at the moment. Please help by advising a siutable template for "dog breeds groups" as well as for "dog types". Thank you.
I may put my opinion on the discussion page instead, still will need a redirect. "Sheepdog" leads to misconclusions, while PASTORAL DOG is a term one can us to describe dogs that work with livestock, including sheep. The breeds listed in the article cannot be listed as "sheepdogs", because they are NOT. Please read on the subject. Thank you.
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:50, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of dog fighting breeds
You posted an AFD +tag and the result was to KEEP, now stop spamming the article or it will be considered vandalism. Chessy999 (talk) 02:24, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
