Afghan leopard gecko

The Afghan Leopard Gecko, Eublepharis macularius afghanicus is a subspecies of the common leopard gecko from the genus Eublepharis also known as the eyelid geckos.[citation needed]
They are desert dwelling lizards. They eat insects as well as small rodents such as baby mice. They also make great pets due to the fact that they are easy to handle and the requirements to recreate their natural environment are very straightforward and simple.
