Afghan Solidarity

Afghan Solidarity is a privately owned non-profit group dedicated to spreading awareness about Afghanistan. It was founded on June 4, 2001 by Farhad Ahad.
The objectives set forth include:
- To advocate unity amongst the people of Afghanistan
- To promote peace and political stability in Afghanistan
- To defend basic human rights of the people of Afghanistan
- To disseminate information for a global audience
- To assist legitimate non-governmental organizations in relief operations
In late 2001, Afghan Solidarity added a discussion forum allowing members of all walks of life interested in Afghanistan to post and exchange ideas. Registration is free.
