Af banen (aka: We Are the Champions) is a Danish independent feature film comedy from 2005, directed by Martin Hagbjer.

It stars Lars Bom as unemployed soccer player Torben, who becomes trainer for a local school soccer team which includes his 13-year-old son, David (Niklas Ingemann). He now has a chance both to repair his damaged relationship with David, and lead the team to victory.

Martin Hagbjer won the 2005 Prize of the Children's Jury at Lübeck Nordic Film Days for Af banen.

Af banen also won as Best Film at Stockholm Filmfestival Junior.[1]

Af banen was nominated for a 2006 Robert Award as Best Children/Family Film.
